I've only caught on TV that one, important soundbite of Condi's, where she acknowledged that, had it not been for Mrs. Parks's stance, she probably wouldn't have become secretary of state. Loved it! Condi didn't mince words on that point; she's feeling the loss just as every other Black person is.
Because at the end of the day, Condi likely experiences what every other Black in America does.
It was Condoleeza Rice who made the "very strong" suggestion that Rosa Parks be the first woman in history placed in the ROTUNDA

Rosa Parks would have been proud of our brilliant Secretary of State, and hopefully future President or Vice President. Dr. Rice was very appreciative of Ms.Park's pioneer efforts on behalf of all Black people. What a ludicrous label, NeoCon, to affix to this woman of extraordinary achievement and ability.

I think Rosa Parks would have recognized and respected the efforts of Condi Rice...they both came from similar backgrounds..and overcame obstacles to become national figures that are respected around the world. Both are/were strong, courageous women...and they probably did meet.

Excuse me. But what made Rosa Parks so great? The woman was tired. Wow - give her the key to the city! Try praising people who deserve to be praised, like those who give their lives, not just their principles, in the name of equality. Rosa parks did nothing for the black movement in america except get the issue in the papers. The Panthers and people who were never publicised gave more than she ever did.

Probably Congratulations.
Rosa Parks desire was likely that the door be opened to people in the future to things they could not pursue then.
Even though she may not agree with someone issue to issue (or maybe she may have, do you know?), the greater issue was ending discrimination.
I think you are dreaming up a scenario that doesn't exist and missing the point.

As much as I do not like her(Condi) or her policies I think Rosa would have said, right on! A black American woman who is in a position of power, then she would have talked to her about the responsiblity of black people to be true to their roots and remember that in this century it was the Democrats who helped them to break into mainstream America.

Maxine is a wack-interest...continually has been and continually will be. She is a humiliation to our State, and her concepts-set in the direction of Capitol Police would have lost her her seat, were she not black. Maxine is sweet, even if. Condi does not symbolize all of us in united statesa., because she is a member of the governmentdepartment. that is the interest of the governmentofficers and Secretaries to implement regulation and could, now to not symbolize people's emotions. extra, she represents the favor of the governmentdepartment to at least something else of the international. You not in any respect listen Maxine or different congress people criticize individuals of congress who visit Castro of Chavez.

She would probably be very glad for her. I mean a poor black kid rising above her adversities to eventually become Secretary of State, not only that but the first black female to hold the position. Mrs. Parks would be proud.

What are you a DR of???? stupidity?
Why would you think for one second that Mrs. Parks would do anything other than to emit class?
What would you say to Sec. Rice if you met her face to face? Would you be as rude as you are on line? I didn't think you have the nuts to.

She would have pointed at you and said "if that is an example of who is going to be on my side, I'm going back to the plantation".
40 years of getting the black vote to the democratic party, and all they have to show for it is over 50% drop out rate and abortion rate, and the lowest economic status of all "major" minorities. They have a lot to thank you for, commie!!! Too easy.
Plus fute (or would it be ****-oi?), once again, you blow us away with your liberal intelligence.
