If you're going to Newport, RI, you must see the Breakers. There are several mansions that you can tour, but that's the best. Also, take a harbor cruise, and eat at the restaurant next to the cruise launches that's right on the docks. They have great food.

If Newport Ri then your pretty set in the way of everything being within walking distance. Go to www.gonewport.com for the visitor's bureau. They have great scenic tours by bus or foot. There's so much to do it's overwhelming. They will help you at the visitor's center though, I used to work there and the people are great!

Newport, RI ???? check out the Cliff walk. A paved trail between the mansions and the oceans. Beautiful

If you mean Newport, PA, there isn't really anything special there. If you mean Newport, OR, I think there is an aquarium there.
