Does anyone know of a Portuguese speaking community in southern California?

my in laws live in New Jersey and speak mostly portuguese but are wanting to move to southern california i woory because they will need to get jobs and will need some friends to talk to.

I think most of the Portuguese communities are located in the east coast. Portuguese is similar to Spanish from what I've heard, and California DOES have a large Spanish speaking population. Santa Clara has a decent sized Portuguese population.
