I do not think you need a blood test done - it will be positive. You need an ultrasound scan instead to date the pregnancy and check the viability of the fetus.

You already said that that you are 11 weeks pregnant so the test will be positive. If the home test and the doctor said you were pregnant then you are so congratulations.

11 weeks, you said. Then I guess someone has decided that you are pregnant. I don't think the blood test were for that reason. Dr.s always do blood work at the beginning of a pregnancy. Or mine always did, anyway. Chances of it being neg.: little to none

These tests are well over 99 percent accurate. You would be way more likely to see a false negative (the test comes out negative when it is in fact positive) than you are to see a false positive. Congratulations. You are pregnant.

It won't be your pregnant congrats the two tests showing positive mean that the hcg hormone is in your urine so you are definitely pregnant a blood test will just confirm the obvious

blood work is done while pregnant to help make sure the baby is ok so it is possible that thats what the docter is doing i never had a blood test done with a positive urine test from the docs office

You can go and get a blood test but i'm sure it will be the 3rd test telling you're pregnant!

very negligible.

The pregnancy test(s) detect the hormone that is ONLY there when the body is pregnant. If your body is producing the hormone then it is pregnant. It is only very slightly possible that your body would make the hormone erroneaously.

Those tests are 99.5% accurate.

Congratulations.

Well if you go to the doctor doesn't he usually take the blood test? If the doctor told you you are pregnant you definately are. Who then told you you are 11weeks?
