the shallowness ,the bed hopping, and materialism. I am a gay man...and I can't seem to find another one who doesn't live their life to be gay,.....its a very tiny part of who I am, its rarely even discussed...what is going on with these guys?

It's nothing to do with being gay! People are people no matter what their religion/politics/race/sexual preferences are! If you only find yourself mixing with people whose company you find fulfilling then maybe you should try to mix with a different crowd! You must have hobbies? Things you really like to do! Join a club/group/association where you will meet new people who will get to know you as yourself! The person and not your sexual preferences! As for bed hopping etc. You know it's nothing to do with gay men/women! Lots of heterosexual people are the same! And when it bores you as much as it bores me ... Make a point of not being there for shallow people, and be constructive about it! Make new friends!!! People who will know you as yourself, love and value you for who you are!

Good luck

Big issue
Paranoid live to be paranoid, they think they normal
Autists live to be autist; they live in their world
Schizophrenic people are fully homogenous in their world
IT is not always because someone feels fine that he is fine.
Homosexulaity IS a mental disorder due to genetic malfunctioning. but because of political garbage it has been scraped out of clinical lists. With treatment, a lot of gay people discover their real self. U got an organ with a function, if your mind tells you to alter the function, there is a problem period. YOU may be smart nice loveable person successful in your carrer and have tons of friends... This has nothing ot do with your personality is has a loto do with your sexual drive which contradicts your physical makeup. try to find help please! Don't care about people who reduce you to your sex preference but don't just succumb to your desires and think you are fine!

I think that so many men have had it be such a struggle in their life, it tends to consume them and become more of an identifying marker of their lives. I think that with some people, it becomes more like a "club" where you can do whatever you want with eachother because you have that one thing in common.

i think that there are alot of gay men like you.. however... ugh this is kind of hard to explain.

when a guy feels strong about materialistic things or something like that.. then it pushes them to be more open about gayness, but guys like you may be scared or embarrassed for some reason to actually admit it, its easier for the other kind of men because they just naturally like... girly things.
