Peolple just do not care. The believe what there told to believe. They don't question authority, the rely too much to the inherant(?) goodness and kindness of men, and most important, those that are in power become slaves of money and greed. Hence, those that created them, become inslaved by them.

6.6 billion people are not lead by just 10 men. Have you ever been to a county council meeting? Probably not. Ever realized that you have representatives in the senate and house? Ever realized that most of the heads of state are elected? Just because you disagree with certain policies that governments follow doesn't mean that the rest of us are "mislead". Don't be so self-centered; not everyone agrees with all of your thoughts.

We have to have some form of uniformity and control or our standards of living would be that of a third world countries. It's probably more like 10 Families than 10 people.

Because people are taught to follow. You are taught to follow directions as a child and there are some that think that you shouldn't think for yourself. I think the big problem here is apathy. People don't think that anything they have to say is relevant so why should they ask it? Why question authority? It's sad but I think thats the problem.

nah seriously, the countries with no clear leaders usually are in a mess and always have to ask other countries for help/food/politic asylum as they end up slaughtering one another or simply starving to death

because people in general are stupid mindless zombies. they would rather be led than to lead themselves. that way they can blame someone else for their situation ather than taking responsibility for their own actions. the whole world is the same way its either politicians, or religion that are the main culprits.
