so self enveloped are we, that i think jesus would come and go without being noticed by the very people who scream his name yet ignore his message everyday.
and if he returned I think Jesus would spend many days crying at the destruction of human will wrought in his name.
jesus would not seek to reach the masses through media.
he might post a question here, but would anyone notice?
does anyone know what question a man/woman pure of heart would ask?
i think they might ask: "Do you love yourself enough to save yourself, not waiting for religion, government or institution?"
Thanx to Yahoo, for this site. Questions and answers are what will bring true redemption to the masses.
Jesus cannot save anyone.
only you can save you.
no?
yes.
I love you all.

If Jesus came back, would we even notice? The answer to this question, I have to say, would be a resounding YES! Why, you ask? For the very same reason you state in your first sentence. Because mankind, in general, is so self enveloped it would be impossible not to notice. The self absorbtion of man has come, in the eyes of many, to be the norm. As we know, anything or anyone who acts in a way that contradicts the norm draws attention. Perhaps not immediately, but most assuredly as word spread of his kindness and selfless compassion. How do I know this? By countless examples of individuals such as Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul II and others. Surely, if mankind notices these, who DID live their lives according to Christ's teachings, how much more they would notice the Teacher.
You are right that religion, government and institutions can never save anyone, but then neither can a drowning man save himself. Only by faith, and dying unto one's self can a person find true salvation.
As for your statement about what a person "Pure of Heart" might ask, I think you'll find that, that person would ask; "How may I serve or help?"
You are right again, Jesus cannot save you...................... unless you are willing to let him.

God Bless You and thanks for listening.

Well you are right we people in this world are self absorbed even some ministers worry too much about thier sunday suits then their sunday sermans and talk more about thier deacon's snake skin shoes then Jesus's lamb skin spirit. But to answer your queation would we notice if Jesus came back? I dont think we will. Especially if he came back as a poor man. So many people blow the homeless off they even do rude things such as throwing stuff out the window at them as they drive by. But they wouldnt know to listen to that homeless guy because he just might be able to offer them something a little more than money can help him.

According to Darwinian evolutionary thought, religion (belief in supernatural spirits) is what helped early man survive. Those who believed the witch doctor, shaman, medicine man could help them with their ills survived more than those who did not believe. The need to believe is part of the brain. Like language and music and literature. Created by man for man. Learned behavior and belief system. God/Jesus is an ideal that exists if you believe it exists. Personally, I do not believe. I do believe in believing. Religion makes the world a better place (unless you are a maniac. Again, learned behavior and beliefs.)

Jesus comes back with each new birth. The "meme" is already there at the time of birth.

Reincarnation is when you pass your DNA along to your
children. Your spirit (and all your ancestors spirits) are part
of your DNA.

Easy business.

The saved will hear the trumpet blow and then in a twinkle of an eye, will be gone to meet Jesus in the air! I think that those who remain will notice all of the saved people gone, and some will believe that we went to meet Jesus, and others will still be stubborn and not agree that that is what happened. Hope this helped.

Jesus is coming back and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Read the Bible and allow it to transform your mind because you are thinking too much for yourself. There would not be a Bible to guide us if we can just interject all of the answers ourselves. It is very clear on what will happen in the end times.

Mathew 24:27

"For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

Sounds pretty noticeable.

Jesus has been back so many times I'm not sure I understand the question. The Holy Ghost is His ghost and dwells here. As to His question after waiting 2000 years, it is "Are you slow poke dimwit idiots ready yet".

Jesus will definitely be noticed specially if he brings back a dead person back to life. Here's the thing, probably a lot more people will not believe him, he will be labeled the worst names we can imagine.

Jesus was born on or around September/October 4BC. He was a rebel and was crucified for his defiance as a dissident by the Romans who occupied his country.

He is dead and isn't coming back.

When Jesus returns He will return in all of his Glory and all will know. At that moment it will be too late to switch sides from unbelieving to believing. He wants YOU to spend eternity with
Him. Don't delay. Don't say "Someday" because you only have
this moment..
