Yeah, it definitely sucks. I only get there twice a year, but I cannot imagine the whole place being shut down. It's kind of sad what this state has come to.
They better fix the problem quickly, they're losing a lot of money, and people are getting very ticked off.

I just got back from Atlantic City last week and it was booming. I think it sucks only for the people of New Jersey. It's not fair to them, that the government can't work a budget plan. The government is making the people who work at the casinos, beaches and other government run facilities suffer because of their actions. My in-laws live there and although they don't gamble, they and others will suffer because of this shut down. Hopefully, the government will reach an agreement and things will be back to normal again.

Yes and the state is losing a ton of money each day between that and the lottery being closed, the budget gap just gets bigger.

Yeah, all those hard working people, out of work Unemployment, will be wild place. The area will go into a Depression era.

No I think its a good thing, gambling actually ruins a lot of lives especially when someone becomes addicted to it.

it's definitely a bummer for the people that live off of tips. dealers, waitresses, etc. i hope it won't stay closed for very long.
