The new one w/ Steve Martin- I saw it and I thought it was hilarious! Still isn't as good as the old ones though.

Yeah I saw it- I reccommend to anyone who hasn't that you pay close attention to what Steve Martin is saying cause he does a very french accent.

I have to admit I knew this movie was in trouble when they took the movie back, recut some scenes, delayed its opening, etc. All signs that a movie is gonna bomb badly. When it came out in the theaters, I didnt go see it cuz I dont go to movies at the theater anymore.

When it came out on DVD I thought about it and thought about it and finally figured ok Ill buy it, since I have a complete Steve Martin collection it wil be to keep the collection complete.

Then I watched it. I must say it was a lot more charming and funny than I thought it would be. Two parts which always make me laugh:

"Stop badgering her! Can't you see she's sexy??"

"I have somewhere.... vague to go in New York. Would that be ok if I went?"

No, but I have seen all the original ones with Peter Sellers. I like Steve Martin. I think he is wondeful actor, but I do not think he can top Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau.

I really liked it. He is great at physical comedy, and I liked the rest of the cast too.

I agree, not QUITE as good as the original, but still extremely funny.
