Creative folks need constant mental stimulation. New situations, conversation about controversial subjects, reading about something newly discovered, creating new things where there were none... those are things that will hold the attention of a creative mind.
"Boring people" are probably the folks who are just content with routine. They tend to find comfort in familiarity.

Boring people are content with their lives as they are. The routine and stability makes them feel secure. They like to create their own little controllable bubble of a world and stay within its boundaries as the uncontrollable changes in the world around them they find unnerving. i.e.: They're about control, fear, security, and insecurity.
Creative people are secure enough in themselves that they want more excitement in their lives. They have vision and want to be part of the worlds changes rather than hide from them. They are willing to take risks. i.e.: They're about excitment, life, experiences, participation in change, progress, idealism, goals, aspirations, etc . . . .

Creative people are always in search for new things because they are always eager to learn ,to grow and to improve upon what has already been established.they need challenges to satisfy their eager minds . on the other hand boring people have no interest in life, they self-consumed, they believe they are the best the world has to offer.

creative individuals are constantly looking for new inspiration. less interesting people may find comfort in routine. maybe they are only boring to creative people.
