Nothing, I would serve anything I would eat given the right circumstances, and barring the guest having an allergy or personal dislike for a particular food.

I don't think I could serve my guests my mashed potatoes. I try. I seriously soooo try to make these good. I either make them too dry. So that the next I add more milk and they are too runny. I just can't hit a happy medium. I really really have tried because I love them soooooooo much. I embarrassingly have resorted to potato flakes because those I can't botch up. But if you are ever a guest at my house........please don't expect mashed potatoes. *sigh*

Peanut butter (actually a type of peanut sauce) on fish and rice.

Actually it's a delicious Indonesian cuisine but many Western house guests find it kinda funky to think about.

Hamburger and tomato soup.
It's like a sloppy joe except it's eaten with mashed potatoes and corn. It's been in my husbands family fora few generations . I wouldn't serve it to anyone but him or maybe his brothers.
It actually tastes pretty good and if you mix the corn and meat together with the mashed potatoes on top you have yourself a nice paté chinois(shepherds pie). This is just the ingredients served separately

I would never serve hamburger helper for guests. I would never give a guest my last piece of dark chocolate.

I would never serve a guest hot dogs... I only eat all-beef hot dogs, but they're just kind of nasty anyway. I still don't know why I eat them. LOL
