When filing for divorce, does each party sign before or after filing papers with the court?

At the time of filing papers must have signature.

Clerk of the court will give you free info.

I had two friends file for divorce in Alabama and well there spouse had to sign before any of the paper work could be done.

You have to sign al through the divorce. I think there is some to sign before and after the divorce. You will be signing for the rest of your life.

depends, if you are filing this yourself, one or both parties have to agree on what you are filing and must sign a no contest form of some kind, or the party that doesnt want to show up has to sign a waiver
