Though I am in China, I recieved about 100 messages to wish me a good 'National Holiday' and six invitations out for a celebration dinner and a dear old man who speaks no English wore a shoulder patch with an American Flag on it to mark the day. There were fireworks from two of the hotels and countless firecrackers and where I live, I am a minority of ONE...but it was a great day.

I was at my desk in Bagdad thinking that 200 plus years ago we became a new nation and in a short time we have become the greatest nation on earth. Can this be imitated by this new democratic nation? Will it survive? Nations rise and fall by the smallest margins.How interesting 4th of JULY 200 years from now will be.

With my beautiful daughters and their families, my kids at home and many friends. We celebrate both holidays Canada day and 4th of July. Had the barbecue going,great wine and music ENJOYED IT!

At home with my cat. I chose to actually since for the last 5 years I have always done something and this year I bailed and watched fireworks on the TV... it wa smuch better I think... No crowds, no humidity, not traffic, no tired child, drunk idiots and I was safe! It was great for me!

went to a friend's house and while I was there we were invited to a party that turned out to be an orgy. When we left there we went to a Chinese Buffet and pigged out. After that I went back to his place, set up a wireless network for his pc and laptop, came home walked my dogs and went to ebd
