It's okay. It's just another money maker for the league. The youngsters really seem to have a lot of fun with it. The format really doesn't matter that much. Just enjoy it for what it is.

I enjoy the home run derby alot. Last year Bobby Abreu was a monster. this year we have stars like Troy Glaus, Bobby Abreu, Jason Bay, Hee-Seop Choi, Andruw Jones, Carlos Lee, David Ortiz, Ivan Rodriguez, and Mark Teixeira. I also agree with you the old format was alot better then the newer one. The older format made it harder to win and easier to lose.

I love watching the home run derby! In some ways I think I like it better than the All-Star game.I think we are always watching games where everyone is competing so it is nice to see a more laid back game. They are still competing but it is more casual and not as competitive.I'm not sure who is going to be in it.Have they announced it yet?

Its fun to watch, but it gets boring when like Abreu just kept hitting them, I like seeing guys hit 9 or 10 and then the next guy.

I've never seen one before but I think I'd enjoy it. I'd like to know, will it be on Fox like the All Star game? or will it be on FSN or ESPN or something? because I'd like to see it.
