Samba is a traditional Brazilian dance, full of rhythm. Brazilian players want to play soccer as if they were dancing samba! :)

Samba is not a food... it is the most popular dance in here, with african origins mixed with latin's blood. It is a simple mix of percurssion, quick dancing and alot of hot girls that looks gorgeus when dancing it. xD

Since it is a very cheerful music, it is used as a symbol of the patience and optimism of the brazilians. I think they used the term "Samba Boys" to say the brazilians, on a marketing approach.

And yes, some are still dancing, we got all disapointed but some are already thinking about the game on 16 august, we want to see how the Seleção will behave after all this criticism, and with the real team (which the stupid coach kept on the bench).

Honestly, some of the brazilian players didn't even deserve the way they were treated as idols here, so me and many others will not cry for them, let them cry for the huge opportunity they missed. We'll still be ahead of anybody else after this WC. ;)

The Samba Boys are the Brazilian Soccer team.

The name is a reference to the music style called by the same name.

We cannot look at one game, but after that Chelsea match,no one thought City would have put 6 past Portsmouth as i could'nt understand in midweek we smashed the woodwork about 4-5 times against a cypriot team that people were slagging off and then a few days later do a damage limitation job on Portsmouth,so now the players know they can express themselves and with Hughes it will be a no slacking team Harrass attack with a bit of defense very clever play so the answer at the moment is yes EDIT: Oi Lofty bolox considering it was SWP and Robinhos first game any team we played we may have got beat, but now they've got 2 wins after that match bring on Utd ,Liverpool or Arsenal and they will be disposed of as we have something you aint got unless your Liverpool and that's a top notch midfielder,Try Kompany muppet as when did SWP measure up to Stevie-G try again m8,ooops a meant to say together swp and robinho, did'nt realise you would be so technical haha quality m8 Im glad you mentioned mighty in that sentence, enjoy the lesson
