Atheists (which I am not) would tell you that it isn't since they're both irrational superstitions.
A lot of fundamentalists (which again, I am not) would tell you that it is since it's the work of the devil.
The serious answer, for me at least, is that it is, because believers in Judeo-Christian religions, at least, (not sure about Islam) also believe that God has given us free will, and the premise of astrology, no matter how they try to pretty it up, is that the future is fixed. Strangely, there seems to be a paradoxical assumption, at least among people who go to astrologers if not the astrologers themselves, that if you know what's going to happen you can somehow avoid it. I don't, however, believe that it's the work of the devil of that you'll go to hell for dabbling in it, just that it doesn't make sense in the framework of a Jewish or Christian belief system.

It depends on what kind of Christian you are, hard-core or soft-core. In my opinion, there is no contradiction at all if you believe both in God and in astrology, since the workings of astrology can be taken as evidence of the existence of God. It is just up to a person what meaning he/she puts into the word "God": higher intelligence, fate, the Universe, or Jesus Christ.

Well I don't believe in astrology myself, but no. I don't believe it contradicts Christian teachings. Heck, some Christians even believe in Economics...

It depends on the type. Are we talking moderate protestant, evangelical, catholic, orthodox?
Overall - Christians should NOT believe in Astrology. Astrology is a form of the occult. One seeks to become ones own God when one attempts divination. This also goes for going to fortune tellers, ouija boards and casting spells.

I think it's fine, but i don't know if it had a contradiction. sometimes i got the astrology not logicable, and differently with the truth. i'm not really believing it then.

Yes, and no. If astrology is is like a game you play for fun, fine, it has no real value. Religion is your belief in how you live your life. So, if you live your life by astrological charts, and palm readings, then yes, it does conflict with being a Christian. If it is not of God, it then is of Satan.
