Do you think is possible considering how difficult it’s becoming for animals to survive? They will evolve into more violent and find undesired source of food; say for instants us. Example a so called "super mosquito" has evolved to be able to find food better and is able to resist repellent. Do you think its possible in this century we will see new breed of species some that may knock us down the food chain. Can it be possible animals will change so erratically we will look at them as animals from another planet. Could it be possible a new species will form that’s capable of replacing the human race.

Evolution occurs over millions of years. In this century there will be no visible results of evolution

no, it's not possible, evolution takes thousands and thousands of years. If you made a timeline going all the way back to the beginning of time and the universe, and lets say this timeline was a Calendar, Mankind would be a very small fraction of a piece at the end of this Calendar. We are merely a passing glimpse in this Universe. I also don't agree with the fact that you say animals would evolve into "more violent" ones. Animals aren't violent, man just makes them out to be violent. Humans are the violent ones.

It's possible. But the big question is will human allow it? No animal in this world can outwit human and replace its throne in terms of evolution. Actually human couldn't wait for nature to evolve it into more sophisticated being. It simply can't wait. First, it invent. Now it dabbers in gene alteration and mutation. Wouldn't be surprised to see hawk man in the future.

its a question with many possibilities while it is sure all species undergo evolution and at times even mutations(even humans too)the possibilities that man might go to far one day wherein could have triggered a self destruct button are possible but we should also remember that man is very cunning and shall use every trick possible to evade and retain his dominance, accepted insects and unicellular organisms possess most highest ability to mutate or even evolve but man is indeed brainy and would use it to his use(as he has done with certain microbes using them against each other)so yeah might sound scary and unrealistic too but yes the day will come when nature shall have its revenge with us though it is surely a matter of many many years much more than a century for sure.

Depends on your definition of animals. I do not believe any large carnivore will evolve to be a problem to us. But antibiotic resistant pathogens are already a threat to us. By the way people who do not believe in evolution should be limited to first generation antibiotics. That will thin our population a bit.

Interesting question. Over tiem I think it's possible another animal would evolve to teh point where they are as intelligent as us. I can imagine dolphins evolving to teh point where tehy would have a similar civilasition to ours. Though personally by the way things are going I think we'll get ourselves killed before any animal has the chance to evolve...

I would be more concerned in the immediate sense that we may be evolving viruses that could destroy us. On the face of it, it would appear we're pretty much killing off all the other higher lifeforms by steadily occupying and polluting their habitats.

As far as insects. They already rule the world. There are more of them than anything else, and they live in nearly every corner of the biosphere.

Animals are already a problem for me.

My wife's cat pissed on our carpeting and there's dog crap all over our yard...just stepped in a pile of it yesterday.

Hopefully animals will evolve so they aren't a problem for me...they'll learn how to use a litter box and learn how to go in the spot in the yard every day.
