I don't think the carpet needs to match the drapes, you want to show contrast. The same color scheme perhaps, but different shades. For example, my living room carpet is burgundy, my drapes are white with pink throughout. My bedroom carpet is a royal blue, the drapes are a sky blue and white. Hope this helps!

They try to, but the carpet has gotten so dirty that it's plain impossible for them to match. Gee, someone ought to pick up the vacuum cleaner sometime.

Mine does not. Although I'm not opposed to monochromatic themes, I feel you need to have some color for warmth or direction of the eye to accent features of a room.

we've bare floord, and bamboo blinds interior the bathing room. thats all i will think of of for curtains..yet i think considering theyre the two pretend wood, they adventure... ...different than there is tile interior the bathing room :( nvm

Mine match !!!!..... But, also you can get some boarder paper with both colors on it to pull the whole room together.... Some sort of theme is nice too!.... Thanks : )
