is it very good?Because I have a birthday coming soon and I am fascinated with the life of the mob,so I wanted to know is it worth reading?

This is an excellent book about the life of Henry Hill, a petty mobster in New York State. This book, of course, is the basis for the superb movie "Goodfellas." Watch the movie and if you like it then read the book because the books are almost always better than the movies.
