It just seems like we are on our way to self distruction. With all the crime and chaos, would you choose to still bring a child into the world.

No way, there's far too many people in the world as is it. I'm doing my bit and staying childless.

Every previous generation has thought the same thing.

I am currently pregnant. Sure I worry about my child's future, or his children's futures, and so on. But who is to say that a child born today won't be the savior of our world?

I guess I'm a bit of an optimist, but I believe there is hope for our world. There are amazing organizations and programs out there working to better the world in thousands of ways. Maybe we should all be hopeful and work with those organizations. Maybe we'll make a difference that way.

Two years ago, I chose to born my son into this world. I chose this because I felt that he deserved a chance to live.My pregnacy was not planned but God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts that anyone could ever ask for...a child.True the world is crazy, but the child doesn't have to know it.U teach that child right from wrong, give them all the love and compassion that they need and they won't grow up to be the idiots that world is cheering everyone to be like.U also have to have a concern for that child and who they're seeing as friends. My parents had a rope tied around us and knew all of our where-abouts.U have to give them freedom but not too much.I'm no staint, but when I had my son I was single and legally grown at 22yr.My son has taught me alot and for anyone who has any children ...I hope that this may help.

I just had my first child, she is 6 months old. It may seem like things are bad now, but are they really any worse than back in the day. There are always wars somewhere, crime, pedophiles, seriel killers, etc.

If you choose to bring a child into the world, you need to be willing to always be there, and teach them to respect others.

Every people in this world and in Y! answer too..life got them to live, because God gave them the air to breath and land to stand. For the Crime, whose care about it? crime come from the poor, they are poor because they are lazy to work, to learn how to get money with no sins. Having a child is a sign of hope. Maybe we think that the world can change, and our children will benefit from the change. Maybe they will even help make the change possible.

self destruction, crime and chaos has been going on for centuries. We only view the present, since this is our era, but actually it is no different from people who were persecuted, killed, crucified, held as prisoners in concentration camps in the past, that is how mankind lives on.

I would, and did,,, It's great watching them grow and learn to solve their own problems, make their own decisions. And quite possibly be the ones to solve the Worlds problems. Why would you be so selfish to cheat/rob the world of that peace?

Honestly I wouldn't and I don't know what to make of the world when my kids (if they do?) have children what it will be like for them. It's a very scary thought actually!
