If it is a prescription medication, these make you more sensitive to sunlight. Make sure you're using a sunscreen on your nose. If it's an OTC medication, it's probably irritating your face. You shouldn't be using anything with alcohol in it, and many topical medications contain plenty of this.

try not using it on your nose just around the area
