I liked Bill Clinton's autobiography "My Life."

In 2000, a book list of the best books of the 20th century listed the 'Education of Henry Adams' as the best. I personally didn't care for it. I tried to slog through it but finally gave up with only 50 pages left.
Of the biographies I've read, I'd have to rate Nabokov's autobiography 'Speak, Memory' as tops. It's very well written, of course, and the account of Nabokov fleeing a Russia in revolt is fascinating.

I like biographies/autobiographies about victims and/or survivors of the Holocaust. These books seem to have a greater impact on me than reading biographies about celebrities or politicians.

The Cage by Ruth Minsky Sender is one of my favorites.
