Wow! Interesting song. The song could be written in three parts, which shows three different viewpoints/meanings: Look who's alone now, It's not me. It's not me. It's possible that Blunt was referring to when he was younger and alone, whilst the people surrounded him were in a relationship (was he teased by others as a result of his loneliness?). However, Blunt then found someone, whilst other people's relationships began to fall apart. Those three Wise Men, They've got a semi by the sea. It is true that property prices are higher if you purchase a house/home by the sea. The value of these homes are greater if inflation occurs. House prices rises, therefore the price of the semi by the sea increases too. However, most young people house share and purchase a property together, since they are more expensive. If they done so, then they could sell the property at a later date and (hopefully) buy their own homes. Got to ask yourself the question, Where are you now? Like most of us have done, at least once in our lives, Blunt maybe reflecting about reviewing your life. One moment you're doing something, next minute something else happens. If you are achieving what you want to achieve - great! If not, then why is that?
