You can't let your 21st go without celebrating it. If you don't want all the attention on yourself, get a load of your mates together, choose a theme and hit the town in fancy dress. Get ****-faced but not so much that you can't remember what a brilliant night you had.... and don't forget to take a camera.

not prepared on that one to be undemanding. Mature or not, there's a international of huge difference between a 15 year old and a 21 year old. The question that needs asking is, why would a 21 year old pick to bypass out with a 15 year old and under no circumstances someone closer his own age? a 15 year old would have the body of a woman, yet his/her international is miles except for a 21 year old's.

I never celebrate my birthday - neither in public nor private - and I am living a happy life.
Think of something very nice and special that YOU want to do or experience, and then do it and celebrate yourself. All the birthday and other celebrations with people are usually the same: They waste time and money, involve unhealthy food, a lot of drinking and are often boring. But people still go for them, because they think they have to show off and perform for other people. If you get out of that vicious circle, you can begin to live your own life.

Your 21st is a big deal. Celebrate... you are about to embark on the rest of your life. You will regret it if you don't celebrate with your friends. You shouldn't have to ask what to do. Search within yourself and also try to view yourself from your friend's and relative's perspective. Cementing your relationships at this point in life is a very good thing indeed.

For my 30th i hired a room and threw a party but i made it a charity night instead and made the night more about that. I am quite shy and i enjoyed it as all the attention wasnt really on me.

you gotta do something that you'll enjoy! x
