I have some deep bruises on the tops of my thighs that have been there since January. They have faded, but they are still highly visible when I wear shorts. I wear long shorts already, so that is not the answer. Any suggestions??

Bruises for six months?? See your doctor! That's definately not natural! Is there anything that could be causing new bruises on top of the old ones continuously? Like, do you carry a long pocketbook that would be banging into your legs? Or do you sleep on a bed with some broken springs in that area? Examine your average day and see if there's anything at all that could be causing them, and then avoid/fix that problem. If you can't find a reason, please see a doctor. Bruises in your legs can be extremely dangerous. (A bruise is an area where the blood vessels have been broken, so that can lead to a blood clot. Once clotted, if you blood pushes the clot through the veins, it can get into a major artery and go straight to your brain. Your doctor may need to prescribe blood thinners or other medicines in order to clear it up).

Good luck!

Put aloe vera gel liberally on the bruised area. If you can use gel from the real plant that is better than the bottled stuff. Cover it with a bandage held in place with an ace wrap (or something like that will keep the gel in place).
