Will she be better than Billie? Worse? How will the Doc cope when Rose dies?

Don't know, but they should have her as a single parent with a kid in her arms to really be trendy and fashionable.
They've had male companions before, Peter Davidson (Doctor Who) & Adric (Matthew Waterhouse) but I think American audiences saw it as a sort of gay thing.

The Doctor has coped with worse situations than the loss of a companion. He will have to cope with Jackie Tyler - which will be even worse!

The possible new companion will be an interesting change.. but will upset certain unpleasant individuals.

did u ever c crossroads? she was awful and so was the programme, so im not holding out much hope, which is a shame, i didnt watch the any of the (actually I dont even know what series they are on), but with the other guy and Billie, didnt watch any, seen a coupleof this current series, but not really been that interested in the programme, but think that from what I have seen, Billy and the new doctor, seem to have a good chemistry.

Don't know who the new companion is but Billie Piper was goood no. She had pretty good chemistry with the old and the new doctor. Doubted her ability to start off with but she grows on you.

Nothing in life stays the same. New companion a different race? Nice touch....

What do you say 'll why don't we hijack the tardis and hold the doctor to ransome to take us to the future to see the new episodes or else...... who's with me ...who's with me lol. We just have to wait and see. Doctor who is good fun.

Who says Rose is gonna die? OK the Beast said something along those lines but you never know. I will be surprised if Rose actually does die.

The new companion won't be seen until the next series, but there's still the Chrissy Special to get over yet. I'm sure she'll do fine.

The last episode I saw - the Doctor made a transformation
into a different person. I have not seen any new episodes with
a new companion, but I like Rose.

Doctor Who is crap, the acting is terrible and always have been, i've never been able to sit through a whole episode. Hiding behind the couch, don't make me laugh, everyone say's that, "remember hiding behind the couch" LOL. What a load of Rubbish. The other fella that done one season, he was cute enough to jump ship when he did. That Billie Piper is sexy though.

How does she come back to life? Because in the Army of Ghosts episode, she had that communicator thing in her ear, and then had it yanked out by Yvonne, and the Doctor said she was dead.

Anyway, I think she'll do quite well, and change is good, and she's pretty too. I wonder if the Doctor will cry?

Will the new companion be..

in a wheelchair? (can perhaps interface with the Darlicks better)
an ethnic minority? (all been white so far?)
beautiful? (Billie let the side down)
Male? (yes they've all be girls so far as well haven't they?)
clever? (all been a bit retarded so far too)

Matching 4 of the five criteria is... Stephen Hawking!
