Gossip is any type of communication directed at spreading false information in order to be hurtful.
Just think back to the Salem Witch Trials, that was gossip directed at the wife of a man that a young girl was infatuated by and it cost the lives of hundreds of innocent people.
There is a time for information exchange, and if you truely want to know the correct information direct your questions towards the people involved. If you are amongst gossip then stop it if possible, or at least end it with you.

everyone will say that gossip is bad...but in truth, v all do it some time or the other, perhaps unintentionally. the best way to stop gossip is to listen to it from 1 ear, let it go out from the other ear and meanwhile .keep ur mouth shut..as simple as that.

Gossip is when people talk to each other about other people. The discussion can be based upon opinions, not fact. Many times, the discussion is judgemental.

I THINK THAT WHEN A PERSON HAS ALOT TO SAY THEY HAVE A BORING LIFE.THEY FEEL AS IF THEY NEED TO CONVERSATE ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE,BECAUSE THEY ARE SO INSECURE ABOUT THERESELF.EVERYONE HAS ALOT GOING ON FOR THERE SELF NO MATTER WHAT AGE THEY ARE IF THEY FOCUS ON THERE SELF THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TIME TOO TELL ME OR YOU ABOUT ANYONE ELSE .ALSO HAVEN'T YOU NOTICED THAT WHEN A PERSON HAS ALOT TOO TELL YOU ABOUT A PERSON IT'S NOT SOMETHING GOOD IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING TOO GET SOMEONE UPSET.
