I mean in the ancient times, there is nothing like fashion trend of todays.
Individuals can wear the same clothes or similar clothes everyday, everyyear. So easy and no need to think about fashion trend or if the clothes match or if the cutting fits the body, etc etc.

While ancient cultures didn't have TV and magazines to publicize fashion, the people were just as fashion conscioius as we are today. Those "carefree" tunics and togas of the Greeks and Romans had to be folded "just so" and be stored in clothes press, so that when worn, all the little pleats would be creased in the manner that was currently fashionable. (And you thought a crease in your trousers was a bother!) Look at some carvings of Assyrians or Babylonians and notice how carefully the curls of hair are arranged or the many styles of beard. Fashion again! Ancient peoples were dependent on their hairdressers, just like we moderns.

Of course, just like in modern times, only the wealthy could be truly fashionable. And, just like in modern times, the less wealthy would do their best to be like them.

Kind of depends on what you mean by "ancient times." In the old Chinese Empires, there were definitely fashions that were rigidly followed. Chances are that any civilization, whether Aztec or Sumerian, developed fashions for the highest classes, as there had to be a way to distinguish the important people from the riffraff.

Ancient people were very much into fashion. Just look at what a snappy dresser Fred Flintstone was.
