Definately no. The mass media is trying to implant in our minds that Islam supports terrorism while it doen't. Islam is a holley religion that protects the human rights and preserves the human dignity. There are some people who do not deserve to claim that they are muslims who commit crimes but they might have a reason for their reactions. Muslims in Palistine and Iraq are suffering but there is no one who defent for their rights to carry on with a normal life.

what kind of religion can support terrorism? As every religion on earth, Ä°slam does not approve violance too.Its a hot debade whether terrorism is a holy war(jihad)against the west? But this is not unique to islam(remind crusades!)So the point is every religion has been a toy of politics, and a source of power.Just leave religions alone in peoples hearts!!!

Islam is categorized as a religion, and to no reasonable definition, will religion advocate unwarranted misdeeds that surmount to deaths - be it through terrorism or sheer accidents.

From the current magazine of the "The Economist" - gives a preview of Muslim led Goverment in Mogadishu, Somali and also enlightens "EURABIA" - it gives a very good reading. Try it my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ostensibly, no. The tenets of their faith decry violence. However, as long as there's been religion, there have been people perverting the original intent. Splinter groups who behave radically can be found in all organized religions... from the benign, like the Amish, to the unusual, like Opus Dei, to the truly hurtful, like the Crusaders. All of these examples are from Christianity... there's no reason to assume that Islam doesn't have similar examples of nonconformity.

No, but there are enough muslims that don't care what the koran states. There are plenty of clerics (wahabists sects that are popular in Saudi Arabia ) that do support terrorism and dissaffected muslim will follow them, just like christians in Ireland murder one another.

Many Muslims support terrorism. You've worded your question to distort what people actually do from a seemingly benevolent religion.

They do, but won't admit it. Where was the outcry from the Imems of Islam shortly after 9/11.
