what do you think?

No, I don't think it does at all.

At the end of the day it is up to parents what they let their children see. In society nowadays, children are growing up much quicker, so I also feel some of the classifications are quite outdated. I saw films when I were younger that I "shouldn't have" - and it didn't do me any harm!

Swear words, sexual references etc... are all over our society, chances are, someone watching a film with a higher age classification will already know all of the things in it anyway!

No. Prents watch things and they let children watch too. Especially on videotapes.
