You need to find out your state's guidelines on this. If the mother is willing, the state may allow it under certain conditions. What were the circumstances? How did you get behind? Have you paid regularly since then? In addition, if the mother received any support from SRS, you will not be able to lower it as the state supported the kids when you weren't. It sounds like you are trying, now you just need to prove to the support that you aren't trying to get out of paying it.

In my state, it is against the law to reduce back child support. If you want to make a private agreement with the mother that is another thing, but the county cannot reduce your amount owed (at least in NYS)

so some distance as i understand, baby help is not owed after a baby turns 18 until eventually the father and mom have some type of contract in position. help is continually paid to the different figure no matter if paid without delay or through a authorities branch. baby help regulations selection counting on the position you stay. i imagine funds could be made to the figure and under no circumstances the youngster because the figure incurs each and every of the prices of elevating a baby.

You can do just about anything if the mother agrees to it, but be a man and pay the woman. You fathered this child. You have a responsibility to help support him/her.
