The Dark Star is a red dwarf which is the Sun's binary. It is currently beyond the asteroid belt, denied by astronomers. It was visible some 4000 years ago, and will eventually return with its planets - which may be inhabited!

hello, I think you have been watching too much Star Wars, so change the DVD OK? Well you are probably talking about Nemesis, the supposed binary companion of the Sun. No body has ever confirmed the theory, but since there is a high percentage of the stars in the universe are systems of multiple stars, then why not our sun as well? There is even some people that think the extinction of the Dinosaurs (as well as many other extinctions) is indirectly result of this binary star orbiting our sun and getting too close to OORTS cloud and knocking some asteroids from their orbiting positions around our solar system causing them to go closer to the sun and planets. I do not think personally that it is true but it is an interesting theory. The fact is that nobody has ever detected a double companion for the sun, and I do not think they are hiding anything at NASA, there is no need for that. Oh, and just to add about Nemesis. If that theory is true, this "star" orbit makes it get close to our solar system every 30-60 MILLION YEARS not 4000 thoudsand. Hoped that clarified something.

The theory of Black star is from Andy Llyod and his books mention about this being a binary star of the sun and larger than that of the Jupiter in the solar system.

why would astronomers deny it? They're not all part of some astronomers secret society. They are not all controlled by some world power. There are millions of astronomers all over the world.
