I believe officiating in the worldcup has been poor.bad refreeing and a deliberate attempt to get rid of African teams.We saw cases where off-side goals were accepted in African matches and cards being shown unnecessarily.the refrees were biased isnt that true?

No dear the refreeing was not poor it was shameful to the refree's who gave it themselves!! But I know that they do not care because FIFA had given them strong instructions about how the match should end (match fixing)-which team had to go through and certainly was not the African teams.
FIFA's main beef is that African countries had won the world cup 9 times,Brazil 5 and Europe 8 times so they want it to be even or Brazil should at least win it for the 6th time.
Did you watch the match between Brazil and Ghana? Men what a grass act by the refree.He allowed 2 offside goals against Ghana.If it was not match fixing why allow a Slovakian to refree the match when Ghana helped throw the Czechs out of the competition,and you know how close they are.
Instead if FIFA sanctioning him he was rather the one who refreed the Germany-Argentina macth.And do you know he has some German blood? See how he was nearly lynched by the Argentinians after the game??
My guess is FIFA wanted an all European and Brazil finale but thank God France ended the FIFA plot when they threw them out!!! Hahahaha. And some of them were crying!!
Look no body cheats Ghana and gets away with it!! The country is BLESSED beyond comprehension. For instance while AIDS increases across Africa,Ghana's is reducing,locust invaded the whole west African countries and even south Spain last year except Ghana and although all her neighbours have the bird flu Ghana has not reported a single case!! So Brazil was digging its own grave when they were assigned a baised refree against Ghana.The roits and destruction of properties going on in that country is unbelievable.
It was not only Ghana that was cheated but Tunisia as well in what the South African commentators called "a braod day robbery". Shame on Sepp Blatter and all his croonies they only appear to be friends of Africa when they need her 52 votes to secure themselves as FIFA presidents!! Racists with permanent grins stuck on their faces!!
FIFA knew what they had planned that is why they choose the no rasicm theme!! It was just to hide their plot!!

A lot of times it seemed as though the officials are kinda biased against Africa, but I am hyper sensitive to that kinda thing. It's just a shame now that the world cup is between only European teams; I know that that is "just the way the game is played", but it still kinda sucks. I will say though that its funny that non-Europeans are referred to as "minorities" by other Yahoo Answers users. Asians are the majority in the world population; referring to them as minorities in a global context really displays some ignorance on behalf of the user.

Officiating had nothing do with African teams going out. Simple fact is Ghana apart, they were all poor sides....

whatever, but why is no one talking about the nazi salute that one German player did after scoring his goal. I searched the web and I must have been the only person who noticed it.whatabout that for refs helping to spread the racism.it's like saying that the Oscars are not political.of course football is political!!!wake up people!

oh please! don't make out that it's just African teams who get a raw deal. The English team always get it worse we can't get away with any thing and are treated unfairly when we are wronged against ,it happens a lot in football on the international stage so don't try and make it an isolated issue against African countries!

we always see the african team playing good in this world cup, but they always lost, why?? because there is another factor that you need to see, one of the weakness of african teams is the accuracy of shooting on goal, they must impoved it first, so we can see the african can play in higher stage and equal with european and south american team

So the Mexican referee was favoring Germany; screw him Italy went out and won rhe match.
It gas been a dood World Cup so far. Referees do make mistakes like everyone.
