if we're going by acting here, i gotta say johnny deep... although orlando is young, and i love his films, johhny deep is much more versatile and a far more experienced actor...

Orlando Bloom is much more prettier than Johnny Depp, even if this last is really not bad himself. But for me, Johnny is more charming. The two are marvellous anyway, and films like Pirates of the Caribbean are soooo nice to see just for them!!

Johnny Depp, since he is more of a sophisticated character. In Chocolat he was magnificant and was able to play his role with persuasion. Orlando Bloom plays as a little boy, ie. Troy. Even though he was supposed to, i really did not like his character in that movie.

While Orlando has his redeeming qualities, for experience sakes, and the fact that he makes one hot pirate, I pick Johnny Depp.

He is a wonderful actor, one of the best in his age group, and he is also an incredibly attractive man, those eyes.... Mmmmmm I loved hin in Pirates of the Carribbean!!!
Mind you, young Orlando doesn't look bad with long blonde hair and pointy ears... LOL
