I guess I'd say Babylon...hanging gardens = Garden of Eden = "hanging" as in untouchable by men who walk the earth, part of heaven.

There is an archaeologist who thinks he may have found the location of the garden of eden.....somewhere in Turkey. Turns out that the the story is actually a Sumerian legend.
