Well, parties are always a good way to mingle and meet new people. Another way to communicate is using cell phones, phones, and text messages on the modern technology end. Another way is writing letters, sending a message through another person, and best way of all is meeting for lunch or dinner and just talking the night away. Communication comes in many forms and people can socialize in many ways....
Perhaps even:
A book club
A volunteer program
A business meeting
Attending a class
Attending a classroom discussion
Attending a Family/ Class Reunion
Speed Dating
Going to the Mall
Attending Rally's
Attending religious events at a place of worship
Dancing
Bars
and the list could go on and on.
