The world has an electromagnetic field, which causes a compass to point north. This seems to influence various components of the atmosphere, causing the hole in the ozone layer to appear in the Southern Hemisphere located roughly above Antartica. The same effect also influences the distribution of a number of greenhouse gases. Temperatures in the vicinity of polar regions probably also plays a part.In Australia U.V. radiation levels are definitely increasing. My optician insists I wear glasses with inbuilt U.V. protection since U.V.radiation can cause eye damage.

the ozone layer also rotates as the earth rotates & most radioactive particals are radio-active and hence they can enter the earth's atomosphere from the north & south poles. only UV rays penetrate through other holes.
