Well, if a team is expected to make at least to the final, fans will be disappointed with such result. Besides, in South America they take football very serious... See Escobar's tragedy, for example.

well the fans insulted the players because unlike many other teams that were disqualified from the world cup they didn't even thanked or acknowledged their fans after the match, they took the coward way out through the back door... also on previous world cups they always returned to Brazil together, to face the people and the press, not this time..
Yes, the fans should have been more supportive.. and if it's bad for us fans, it's tenfold bad for the players.

Football in those countries are taken very seriously and when they lose the people take it very seriously amongst themselves but I love football and even though i am Not Brazilian i love brazil football team and even thought they didn't win i am still very happy they got that far in sports my motto is always expect the unexpected you never know what is going to come of it. But they terrible burning down ronaldinho's statue and all that foolishness.that's crazy.

I totally agree with you!!!! You should always support your team! in football you can never be too confident, and I think their fans were, they already felt like winners.. and when you fly that high up it is sooooooooooooooo much more painful to fall....

it´s not the teams fault but the coach´s ,, he set up the plays & wouldn´t allow the team to play as they know they can ,, can´t win playing defensive & waiting for the other team to make a mistake ..

yeah, because very few teams get to reach as far as they did. They should be given a grand welcome. No one chooses fate, and we are all human so we make mistakes. Shame on the fans!
