The Chicken Came First.

Easy: The egg.

At some point, one has to draw the line between a chicken and it's ancestor. An ancient bird produced an offspring with just enough mutation or difference from it's parent (to a discerning genetecist had they been there), that would've qualified as the first chicken. In between the parent bird and the first chicken (a mutant at the time), was an egg.

The egg. This is such an old argument. It has to be the egg because a creature that was similar to a modern chicken laid it, and the embryo mutated by accident into what we consider to be the modern chicken.

A chicken and an egg were in bed together.

After a few minutes the chicken was seen smoking a cigarette.

I guess that answers the question.

Actually it is the egg as was proven a month ago by eminent scientists. A month ago CNN (if not mistaken) had a big article on it and the medias were all talking about it. Finally those scientists explained after many studies that the egg existed first.
beleive it or not.

There is an answer to this question, but you cannot find it with the help of materialistic philosophy or Darwin's evolution theory.
