One ancestor of ours was fed up with everyone getting their names bastardised on Ellis Island. He knew there was no possible way they could spell "Steiglefest" and have it come out right. Not wanting to be known as "Steinvest" or something creative, he used his first name..........twice.
"My name is Bernard Bernard."
And geuss what............ they messed that up too. That's why my middle name is Bernhard.
