Ghosts are always described as wearing clothes. Ghosts are, allegedly, spirits - do clothes have spirits?

I don't see how a ghost could have clothes. What you supposedly see when you see a ghost is a spirit of a human being, not a spirit of clothing. But then, Hamlet's father's ghost was wearing armor - talk about your hard spirits -hyuk, hyuk, hyuk!!!

Let's say that part of your personality is expressed through what you where. So when you die your entire personality is in your soul, so clothes are in your soul? Yep, that's what I say!

In fact they are not clothes, just an illusion, they do not want to show them naked, because those below 18 will not have a chance to see the ghost..

well I have never seen a ghost wearing clothes, but I guess they are wear the clothes they died in

Ghosts are trapped in their old life, and subconciously (is that possible?) present themselves in that character, including the cloths.

who said ghosts have clothes......it is just for a show and described in book.......... u believed that they have clothes? who know........ u should ask the one...... who had been seen the real ghost before......it is not me sure.......

naked ghosts would be rated AAA or XXX... so they wear clothes and aren't censured.
