Being a logical thinker the way I always though of destiny is path which everything has, and is destined to do. Now this may seem a bit illogical to some but if you think about it, physically there are paths which things must follow, and based on how things are orientated in the dimensions of our world, with enough computing power, we could predict the behavior of anything, provided we have the right information. If we drop a ball on earth, it is destined to fall. Some people have a problem with this because they say they have free will, and destiny wont rule their lives and take away their decisions. But the truth of it is, our brains are but molecules, our thoughts only chemical reactions. Al these environments, though unbelievably complex, do follow rules which governs how they interact and what state they are in, and will be in.
I believe in destiny being something we cant escape, things will happen the only way they can, by following the laws of the universe we live in, this is our destiny.

Destiny is more or less, after effects of our current behavior. Plus there are certain unexpected occurrences which are pure accidental. Sum total of this is our destiny. Yes destiny can be changed provided our behavioral pattern becomes positive and pure right from this second. What ever already, known and unknown behavior, done by us, that too will first give effect, then comes turn of good effect, result of our freshly started, positive and pure activities. So we are moulders of our own fate. No God or Satan works here. Offering prayers, in temples or Churches etc are just for our mental satisfaction and to reduce psychological strength of after effects of our wrong doings. This does not mean that quantum of after effect is reduced or wiped off. This only means reduction of inner guilty consciousness.

There is destiny. But destiny something that makes you 1) are born as a male or female 2) are born to certain family (you can't really say "i want to be born in that family" *pointing to a rich and famous family* before you were actually born, right?) 3) are born as a either perfect or crippled man.
Although there is destiny, there are things that you have to decide yourself, like 1) what to eat for dinner 2) what to wear 3)what road to choose 4) will you to steal that car or not 5) will you tease your brother 6) will you give your money for charity 7) or something like that.
For every little thing that you decide yourself, you'll be judged and be either punished or rewarded for it.

yes really there is called destiny because u observe the life histories of many great people they r hard working too but the destiny will help them to be in the great position for eg many people can play well,sing well but luck i..e,destiny has to be open its door then only we will success in our life.

When I was little, I used to spend a lot of time in my grandparents`house. Near their house there was a supermarket owned by a man.
When I was 18 my father decided to go to college. There he had a very good friend who, in turn also had a very good friend.
My best friend has been my best friend all my life.

Well, my best friend introduced me to my husband (who I know is my soulmate).
The best friend of my father`s best friend is my husband`s brother.
And the man from the supermarket is my husband`s uncle....

So, yes, I believe in destiny. I believe something above directs you to your destiny. You just have to open your eyes, sometimes.
