There are indications that some ancient reptiles or fishes may have survived the ice age. But only one such reptile has been found out so far as I know. It is called ichthiopus and is a reptile but it is not huge in size but about an armadillo (it does not resemble armadillo). But i think there are so many places in this world that remains unexplored. For eg. in the himalayas there are so many untouched portions by humans that a yeti can truly exist. Also in Africa in the Sahara there are places where no one has ever set a foot and you can find the ruukh bird of Sinbad tales. Not only these mythicla characters there can a entirely new species of animal that can be created/lived in this earth but not known to us.

karma
As I go through life, fixing my mistakes one at a time, I’ve learned a thing or two about Karma, and part of keeping good Karma is sharing it with others. I hope these notions help you as much as they’ve helped me.
Do good things and good things will happen to you. Do bad things and it will come back and bite you in the ***.
If you want a better life, you need to be a better person.
Bad luck might be contagious. It wouldn’t be fair to bring someone into your life until you clean yours up.
Never underestimate the power of confidence. And never underestimate fifteen beers, a little enlightenment, and the power of Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock.
A person needs a little rest after having his moustache tickled at a gay bar.
You have to do the hard things in life sooner or later.
If you want the reward, you have to do the work.
The secret to life is fixing all the bad things that you’ve done.
Whether picking up trash, returning stolen merchandise, or helping a homosexual find love, it always has the same reward… feeling good about yourself.
Karma. You got to love it.

Well, perhaps not mysteries of the superhero variety (although I would love to think that there are dragons hiding somewhere around) but a vast amount of this world is still unexplored - especially the deep sea clefts etc - so who knows what could still turn up?

There are still mysteries like the Loch Ness Monster. But one of the oldest mysteries still exists, and all the modern science still hasn't figured it out.
The universe is still here, and still a mystery as it has been since the first person looked up into the night sky.

The oracle is right.
Oh, why do mysterues have to be giants, flying people and the like. There are thousands of mysteries in this 'old world', ancient, untangible, overwhelming.
Take simple things, there are mysteries everywhere:
why do we sleep? nobody know. a mystery.
why do we dream? no idea. another mystery.
why did the dinosaurs die? scientists just give their theories. no one knows for sure.
who are we? where are we from? what are we doing here? the biggest mystery of all. so profound.

one of the great - and seemingly unsolvable - mysteries of the world is that posed by the 'double-slit' experiment.
the double-slit experiment bombards a gate with two slits in it with subatomic particles (photons or electrons typically) and then works out which slit the particle has passed through by working backward from where the electron is after it has passed through the gate.
(think of throwing tennis balls at a wall with two windows blindfold - then working out which ball went through which window by checking the bucket behind each window afterwards).
the problem with the double slit experiment is that there is incontestable evidence that an electron can 'go through' both slits simultaneously.
(the same tennis ball is found in both buckets).
there is no scientific answer to this impossibility - not even the beginning of one.
we know it happens because it happens.
