i think this refers to being 'perfectly' good at whatever it is you are practising, not to being a perfect person

i am nobody, therefore i am perfect......lol sorry, had to write that one. *chuckle*

The act is perfect, not the person. If i practice for long enough i will be able to do something perfectly, spelling test is a good example, if you practice enough you will get a perfect result 10/10.

Practice makes perfect one specific thing, that is to say you can improve your performance at doing something if you practice, but it doesnt mean you are a perfect person,

'Cos maybe nobody's perfect because nobody has practiced hard enough... you'd have to really practice to find out...

Also, just as a random point, who is "Nobody" and how comeshe gets to be perfect? Does that mean we're all striving to be nobody???

You can be perfect at a particular act, but not all around. So you practice the act to perfect it as much as what you can.

if, "practice makes perfect" and "nobody's perfect", doesnt that mean that people arent practising. So, the question isnt, "why practice"? But rather, "why arent people practising"?

My guess is that it's hard work to be "Perfect".

It is the quest for perfection we should strive for. When travelling, it is often the journey that is the most exciting, not the destination. See practising as a journey on a parabola (spelling?) where you will approach your destination (zero), but will never reach it. It's just a lot of fun to realise you are getting better in something.

To attain perfection... perfection is a relative term...
Beckham's goal against Ecuador was perfect... Federrer demolition of Henman was perfect... and this is because these guys practice...

i think the question should be, "what defines perfect" first. Can anyone point to something and say "that's perfect" and have that be a fact?Perfect is such a hard word to use....beh.

prepare permits you to achieve no questions requested. the ingredient is not any one's suited because they are not suited at each and every thing they do. in case you pick to develop into wide-spread as suited my advice is substitute your call to no one or prepare each and every thing for round 10,000 hours each and every as it really is meant to be the era of time had to get truly solid at some thing.
