Thank you....Same to you!

Big court party in the Hood today, we've got the over 30 kids coming! We've rented a massive blowup water slide for the kids and we'll be serving up margaritas, beer, wine, pop, burgers, dogs, Red Hot & Blue baked beans and potato salad....that's just the tip of the iceburg!

What are you getting into?! Hope you have a happy & safe fourth!

Thanks, same to you! When I was growing up in Golden Colorado, the a.m. of the 4th both of my parents would each drive to the parking lot that surrounded Lakeside Amusement Park. They would leave one car there.
Later in the evening, we would pack up goodies for a picnic, head for the parking lot and the car we had in a great spot to watch the fireworks being shot over the lake. A wonderful time was had by all!
I'm married now and living in a small town in Utah. There is a nice park and a beautiful fireworks show. This small town of Brigham City knows how to put on a fantastic show. The kids will be going with friends so my husband and I will ride the motorcycle and get into a nice spot to watch. When it's over, we'll fire up our "chair" and head for home.
Hope your 4th is safe too!

Happy Independence Day to you too! I don't have much planned for today, but I think I'll have a barbecue this afternoon and then enjoy the fireworks celebration tonight and possibly get drunk. Ta-ta.
