I'm thinking March 1, but won't that mess up their age when feb 29 comes around again?

The actual age of a person is counted in number of complete years they have lived. It does not matter if the year is completed on February 29, or March 1.
People born on leap day usually count their birthday on Feb 28 or Mar 1 on the non-leap years.

I hear what you saying, but I'd have to go with March firsat as well. My thoughts being the baby was not born on February 28. The baby was born on the 29th which is the day after the 28th. So in all reality the baby was born either on February 28th, OR on March 1st. And I know that there are going to be people who say the baby was born in February NOT March. As such the b-day should be Feb 28th. As far as messing up the b-day when the 29th comes around again, I'd say no becasue you have been celebrating it the day after the 28th So either way you good to go. The ONLY diff will be Feb or Mar

You are correct, March first of the following year is the child's first birthday. When Feb. 29 comes around next the child will be four years old and on March first, the next day, the child will be four years and one day old and the child's age won't be "damaged". Time is just a consideration that we humans have and is of little consequence.

i comprehend a pair human beings born on that day. One celebrates it on the twenty eighth and the different on the first. And it really is cool haha. They age in person-friendly words each and every 4 years! jk. i imagine that is outstanding.

There is no messing up.
The day after February 28 is the birthday. A never fail rule.
