depends on what kind it was, how expensive it was, and how big. If you paid average price for it then yea 2 years is fairly good. If you paid quite a bit for it though then I would expect another 2 years. If it is small and compact with little or no vents for heat, yeah 2 years is long. If it is big, has vents, perhaps a fan, wasn't on all the time or something I'd expect more.

2 years is decent for small consumer electronics made after 1990. (birth of planned obsolescence) They are made to have a limited lifespan and be easily replaceable,

suppose so, depends on what temperatures it was running in i suppose, if it is very hot then the life of the product is only shortlived
