i would agree with vinned on the first result that if you and r surroundings where absolutly unaltered then you are of the age of the time when u began r travel.
i must disagree with the latter for if your body began to become younger then r brain and memories will follow the same path as r body and when u come out of the machine all u would remember is one moment ( of the time u reached r destionation ) what it was u where doing in that time then a moment later finding rself walking out of the machine ( then probably die from shock)

Any theoretical question implies assumptions to be made. On the most basic level, you are either assuming that your physiological "package" (body, memories, age, etc.) will remain unaltered when time-traveling, or that these factors are commensurable (if you travel back ten years, for example, you will not only be ten years younger, but will have lost ten years worth of cognizance). If you are assuming the latter, then it would hold true that you would still be aware of your age: when you were ten, you knew your age just as concretely as you did when you were twenty, although your ability to travel forward to the point where you left from would not be an option, as you simply had not discovered time-travel yet. If, however, you are assuming the former, then even though your age and memoria [not misspelled; Latin term.] would remain the same, you would still have an accurate perception as to your "current" age (i.e. you know conclusively that your last birthday was the one where you turned from "n" to "n+1"). Therefore, I would speculate that regardless of your presumption, you would retain a thought, be it current or past, of how old you turned on your last birthday.
(Short, non-dorky answer = "you would always know).
Excellent question, by the way. My first time answering!

Presumably you would use your wristwatch, which would show the sensible time that you are experiencing. The time (and date) that it shows might not match that shown by a clock in your surroundings. You can actually see this occuring: GPS satellites contain highly accurate clocks, but because of relativity relating to their orbital motion around the earth, these clocks run at a slightly different speed from clocks on the ground. Adjustments are made to allow for this and keep things working properly.

I don't think that age is really relevant if travelling through time as it only marks an indicative point in your life between birth and death, which could come earlier or later dependant on cause of death. I suppose keeping a watch and calender may be useful..... or just travel forward to a point just before your own death then remember not to go beyond that....wait, what does that matter?...damn, never thought this through.

Actually if this travel does indeed be a theoretical discussion then I think age can be calculated by the movement of the Sun. But it has to be taken care that the earth's rotation hs increased by about a few minutes. So, if we go back then the raotational time decrease should be taken into account and vice versa.

So long as you knew what year you travelled to you can work it out because your birth year would never change. Just don't look at the minus sign if you go backwards....
If you have found a way to time travel, can you let me know who won the 2007 Grand National and what time I managed to get of this cursed computer!!!

if u have a clock u can record ur personal time. there is no universal time only personal time (relativity theory). so, u can track ur age with a clock and actually the time measured by everyone else is changed.

Carry a clock with you. It will age as fast as you do. Your time is what is correct for you. There is no universal time, each observer's clocks measure their own time, and all observers' clocks are equally 'real'. (Einstein's theory of special relativity.)

to travel in time you have two ways one is to move relatively as fast as light or you should move through warm hole. you should read about it in theory of relativity.when you move in time you can calculate your age through your own wrist watch means that not the time you came from.i wanna reasearh in this matter afer my UG and graduate .if you are interested in it you may keep in touch with me.

Time travel cannot be possible, otherwise we would have people from the future here now. That is my theory anyway...
