No, not in exact figures. But is certainly way too much.

Why are we spending billions on space programmes, while we are still willfully unaware of large parts of our own planet (in particular the deep sea regions of our oceans) and are still not willing or able to feed every person on Earth. Every day more than 20,000 people on our planet die of starvation or the effects of malnutrition. To feed one person in the "third world" for a whole month would cost about € 7 (less than $ 9). There seems to be neither the will not the money to do that and save lives. At the same time the USA alone spend $ 215 million every day on the illegal occupation of Iraq. I think it would be about time to get our priorities right.

As much as it can legally before the next space shuttle stuff up..

when the billions spent there might finally be cut off and diverted to pay for basic health and education instead.
