According to Hindu folklore, ‘Kapila’ is a Vedic sage, the son of Kardama Muni and Devahuti. Maharishi Kapila is traditionally considered to be the original proponent of the Samkhya system of philosophy. Though we now have no known writings by him, he is venerated due to Lord Krishna Himself praising this sage in the Bhagawad Gita.
The only known ‘Kabila’ is Laurent-Désiré Kabila (November 27, 1939 – January 18, 2001), who was President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from May 1997 (when he overthrew Mobutu Sese Seko) until his assassination in 2001. He was succeeded by his son Joseph Kabila.
‘Arasan’ is of course, the Tamil modification of the Samskrüt term ‘Rajan’, meaning ‘King’. The pure Tamil term is ‘Mannan’.
These combos, of (a) sage plus king, and (b) president plus king, do sound rather odd, plus quixotically paradoxical indeed ! Is it, perhaps, your proper name ?!
